Become a Member!
Membership is open to individuals primarily working in the Production Design and Costume Design departments who have held their respective positions responsibly for at least three projects:
- Feature films (60 minutes or more)
- Series (totaling 80 minutes or more)
- Dramatized documentaries (at least 45 minutes of dramatized content)
The specific professional groups are listed in the Rules of Procedure and under "Art Department" or "Costume Department" and are defined in our Encyclopedia. Applicants must have had their primary residence in Austria for at least one year or hold Austrian citizenship.
The membership application can be downloaded here. Please fill it out digitally and return it via email, along with your CV, to: office@filmdesigners.at
Each member receives their own webpage. Using a username and password, you can enter and manage your profile data and projects. Listing in specific categories is possible once at least three works (in that category) are listed.
Membership Fees
Membership fees are re-evaluated annually at the General Assembly.
General membership fee:
65€
Increased fee for Production Designers and Costume Designers:
100€
Fee for retired members and newcomers:
15€
Honorary members and partners are exempt from membership fees.
